Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Electric Guitar Amp Demo

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Electric Guitar Amp Demo

Fender Hot Rod deluxe review. This is a great amp for it’s size and sound boasting a really stout reverb and an ability to distort the classic clean fender sound. I own an emerald green Hotrod deluxe with a Celestion 30 speaker installed inside it. This amp works great with a distortion pedal running through either the clean or drive channels for a great semi crunchy hard rock sound. I primarily use my amp set for a bluesy feel and use my Ernie Ball Wah for a great Jimi sound while using my stratocaster.

I also have an Ibanez PRS style Guitar with DiMarzio pickups that will screams through this amp when I use my Boss MT-2 Metal Zone which has received mixed reviews but I like it’s versatility overall. This Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Amp is loud enough to gig with and can fill a small hall or bar with ease. The range of sound from the drive channels on this amp meet perfectly in the middle, the heaviest drive sounds of the drive channel match up with the lowest setting of the more drive channel.

This gives you a blanket of sound possibilities with no missing area between the two channels that could be missed. This fender hot rod deluxe amp has an effects loop that is for placing your effects between the preamp and power amp, when used with a volume pedal you can turn up the channel preamp to get the desired effects from the hot tubes while still limiting the input to the power amp to sooth the beast.

Here is a video from World Music Supply Delivering a demo of the Amp:
